Overview
Krankenhaus Nordwest is a teaching hospital of Goethe University in the north-west of Frankfurt. Its Institute of Clinical Cancer Research (IKF), directed by Salah-Eddin Al-Batran, is a trial office for the German AIO cooperative group in gastrointestinal cancer and coordinated the FLOT4 trial, whose 2019 Lancet report established perioperative FLOT for resectable gastric and gastro-oesophageal junction adenocarcinoma. The hospital is a partner site of the University Cancer Center Frankfurt.
