Overview
The Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre, formerly the London Regional Cancer Program, is the Ontario Health regional cancer centre for south-western Ontario, located at London Health Sciences Centre's Victoria Hospital. It provides radiation oncology, medical oncology, haematology and stem cell transplantation, surgical oncology and supportive care, and hosts a large clinical trials programme. Research with Western University and Lawson Research Institute includes radiotherapy trials (the centre led the Canadian trials of stereotactic radiotherapy for oligometastatic disease, SABR-COMET), imaging and translational oncology, and Western's Cancer Research Laboratory Program.
