aka FAH-SYSU, 中山大学附属第一医院

South China's largest general hospital and the surgical counterpart to SYSUCC, strong in gastric, colorectal, liver and thyroid cancer surgery.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, founded in 1910, is one of China's national regional medical centres and a high-volume surgical hospital with recognised gastrointestinal surgery (laparoscopic gastrectomy trials of the CLASS group), hepatobiliary and transplant, thyroid, urological and neuro-oncology services.
