A US charity, with chapters in several countries, that funds research on childhood brain cancers, especially DIPG and diffuse midline glioma.
The Cure Starts Now says on its home page that it has funded 198 grants, working with partners in the DIPG/DMG Collaborative on childhood brain cancers, and that research it funded has helped identify key mutations and build one of the world's most comprehensive DIPG/DMG registries. It describes itself as an international movement with fundraisers, chapters and families in several countries, says that all of a donation after card fees goes to research, and lets families create a profile to receive free resources and raise funds. The site gives its address as Chester Road, Cincinnati, Ohio; the IRS record (as Cure Starts Now Inc) places it in Cincinnati with tax exemption issued in September 2007.
