A charity founded in 2007 that helps hospitals in low and middle income countries diagnose and treat children with cancer and support their families.
World Child Cancer works on the gap in childhood cancer survival between high income countries, where over 80% of children survive, and low and middle income countries, where its site says survival can be as low as 20%. Founded in 2007, it supports programmes in Africa, Asia and Central America with hospitals, ministries of health and communities: training health workers to spot childhood cancer early, improving access to treatment and essential medicines, and helping families with the cost and strain of care. It says it has helped more than 50,000 children and families and takes part in the WHO Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer. The Charity Commission register records latest income of about £3.7 million for the year ending 31 December 2025.
