Oral oncology
Oral Oncology is Elsevier's monthly journal on cancers of the mouth, throat and head and neck region. It is read by head and neck surgeons, oncologists and oral pathologists.
Overview
Oral Oncology started in 1997 as the successor to European Journal of Cancer Part B, Oral Oncology, and the NLM Catalog notes that it is described as an EJC publication. It was first issued by Pergamon in Oxford and New York and is now published by Elsevier in Amsterdam; Crossref lists Elsevier as publisher. The NLM record shows publication frequency rising from bimonthly (1997 to 2000) to eight issues a year (2001 to 2003), ten a year (2004 to 2007) and monthly since 2008, with a supplement series and an online companion, Oral Oncology Extra, published between 2004 and 2006. The journal is indexed in MEDLINE.
