The breast journal
The Breast Journal is a US-founded journal on breast disease and breast cancer, now a fully open access Wiley title, read by breast surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and pathologists.
Overview
The Breast Journal started in 1995 with Blackwell Science in Cambridge, Massachusetts; since 2022 the NLM Catalog records the Hindawi imprint of Wiley as publisher, and Crossref lists Hindawi Limited. NLM indexes it for MEDLINE under Breast Diseases and Breast Neoplasms, records it as bimonthly, and notes (from 2000 onward) that it is the official journal of the American Society of Breast Disease, the Senologic International Society and the International Society of Breast Pathology. DOAJ lists the journal as open access since 2022 with a CC BY licence, an article processing charge and anonymous peer review.
