Overview
Brian Rini was principal investigator of KEYNOTE-426, the trial showing pembrolizumab plus axitinib improves survival over sunitinib in first-line advanced renal cell carcinoma, and of IMmotion151 (atezolizumab plus bevacizumab). He has led studies of active surveillance in metastatic RCC and of biomarkers of immunotherapy response. He directs clinical trials at Vanderbilt-Ingram.
