Overview
Bryan Haugen heads the division of endocrinology, metabolism and diabetes at the University of Colorado and directs its thyroid tumour programme. He chaired the task force that produced the 2015 American Thyroid Association management guidelines for adults with thyroid nodules and differentiated thyroid cancer, which introduced more conservative surgery and radioiodine use for low-risk disease. His research covers thyroid cancer biology and redifferentiation therapy.
