Overview
Gilles Vassal is a member of the SIOP Europe board responsible for oncopolicy and is Professor of Paediatric Oncology at Gustave Roussy, Villejuif. A former SIOPE president, he has been a leading advocate for the EU Paediatric Regulation and for the ACCELERATE platform to speed access to innovative medicines for children with cancer, and he founded the Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer (ITCC) consortium.
