Overview
Jeffrey Weber was principal investigator of CheckMate 238, which showed adjuvant nivolumab beats ipilimumab in resected stage III-IV melanoma with far less toxicity, and of KEYNOTE-942, the randomised trial showing the individualised mRNA neoantigen vaccine mRNA-4157 plus pembrolizumab reduces recurrence versus pembrolizumab alone. He has led immunotherapy development since the interleukin-2 era and directs melanoma research at NYU.
