Julian Adams, PhD, is President and CEO of Stand Up To Cancer, the US charity that funds collaborative 'Dream Team' cancer research. A drug-discovery scientist, he led the development of the proteasome inhibitor bortezomib (Velcade), a cornerstone therapy in multiple myeloma. He joined SU2C in July 2023 and was subsequently promoted to President and CEO, according to the organisation's leadership page.
