French kidney cancer specialist who co-led CheckMate 214 and the belzutifan trials.
Overview
Laurence Albiges was a lead investigator of CheckMate 214 (nivolumab plus ipilimumab) and of the LITESPARK trials that established belzutifan, the first HIF-2 alpha inhibitor, for previously treated clear-cell renal cell carcinoma. She led the CheckMate 214 long-term follow-up analyses and chairs the ESMO renal cancer guideline group. She heads medical oncology at Gustave Roussy.
