Peter Johnson
Southampton lymphoma specialist who led the RATHL trial of PET-guided therapy in Hodgkin lymphoma and serves as NHS England's National Clinical Director for Cancer.
Overview
Peter Johnson is Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Southampton and University Hospital Southampton, working within the Centre for Cancer Immunology, the UK's first dedicated cancer immunology centre. He was chief investigator of the RATHL trial, which established interim PET-CT guided de-escalation of chemotherapy in advanced Hodgkin lymphoma, and his research focuses on antibody and vaccine immunotherapy for lymphoma. He also serves as National Clinical Director for Cancer at NHS England.
