Philippe Bergerot is President of the Ligue nationale contre le cancer, the French national cancer charity that funds research, supports patients and campaigns on prevention. He is a cancer physician and radiotherapist and was elected to lead the organisation's board in June 2024. He chairs a seven member bureau that prepares and oversees the decisions of the board of directors.
