Overview
Richard Stone was principal investigator of RATIFY (CALGB 10603), the international trial showing midostaurin added to standard chemotherapy improves survival in FLT3-mutant AML, the first new approval in AML induction in 40 years and the first targeted therapy in the disease. He chaired the Alliance leukaemia committee and has led trials across AML, including gemtuzumab and quizartinib studies.
