Overview
Hartmut Döhner (Ulm) chairs the European LeukemiaNet AML working group and is first author of the 2010, 2017 and 2022 ELN recommendations that define AML genetic risk groups and response criteria used in every trial and clinic. He leads the German-Austrian AML Study Group, whose trials characterised NPM1, CEBPA and FLT3 mutations as prognostic markers, and co-led the WHO/ELN genomic classification.
