Led ECHELON-2, the first trial to improve survival in peripheral T-cell lymphoma, using brentuximab vedotin.
Overview
Steven Horwitz was principal investigator of ECHELON-2, which showed brentuximab vedotin plus CHP improves progression-free and overall survival compared with CHOP in CD30-positive peripheral T-cell lymphoma, the first randomised survival benefit in the disease. He has led trials of pralatrexate, romidepsin, duvelisib and other agents in T-cell lymphomas and leads the T-cell lymphoma programme at MSKCC.
