Overview
Sumit Gupta was study chair of Children's Oncology Group AALL1731, the randomised trial showing that adding the CD19 bispecific blinatumomab to chemotherapy dramatically improves disease-free survival in children with newly diagnosed standard-risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, the largest advance in front-line childhood ALL in decades. He also studies disparities and outcomes in paediatric cancer at SickKids.
