Dra. Susana Blanco holds the Dirección Nacional of the Dirección Nacional del Cáncer (DNC), the body within Argentina's Ministerio de Salud that designs and implements public policy for cancer prevention and control and carries the functions of the Instituto Nacional del Cáncer. The ministry's team page lists her at the head of a structure that includes Dr Federico Cisneros for prevention, diagnosis and treatment and Dra. Graciela Abriata for cancer information systems and the SIVER-Ca surveillance system, together with national programmes for breast, cervical, colorectal and familial cancer, childhood cancer and palliative care.
