Overview
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is Director-General of the World Health Organization. He leads the agency responsible for global health norms and programmes, including WHO's cancer control work such as the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer, the Global Breast Cancer Initiative and the cervical cancer elimination strategy. He previously served as Ethiopia's Minister of Health and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
