Overview
Timothy Cloughesy led the randomised pilot trial showing neoadjuvant pembrolizumab before surgery for recurrent glioblastoma enhances intratumoural T-cell responses and was associated with longer survival than adjuvant-only dosing, a template for window-of-opportunity trials in brain tumours. He co-led the vocimagene (Toca 511) and GBM AGILE platform trial efforts and directs neuro-oncology at UCLA.
