Overview
Yakubu Seidu Adam is Chief Executive Officer of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana's premier tertiary teaching hospital and national referral centre, with around 2,000 beds and services including oncology. A consultant eye surgeon with expertise in glaucoma, cataract and refractive surgery, he joined Korle Bu in 2003 and from 2017 headed its Lions International Eye Centre; he is a Fellow of the Ghana College of Surgeons. His appointment as Chief Executive took effect on 6 May 2025, succeeding Opoku Ware Ampomah, and he continued in the role in 2026.
