A large German study asking whether regular blood tests after breast cancer treatment, rather than waiting for symptoms, change what happens to women.
SURVIVE (NCT05658172) compares standard with intensive surveillance in 3,500 planned patients with early breast cancer; in the intensive arm, abnormal blood results trigger imaging. It is the parent study of SURVIVE HERoes, which randomises patients with HER2-positive or HER2-low disease who have a molecular relapse.
