Acerand Therapeutics develops small-molecule cancer medicines. Its programmes include ACE-232, a tablet that blocks the CYP11A1 enzyme at the start of steroid hormone production, in an early trial for prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy, and a selective PARP1 inhibitor.
Acerand Therapeutics lists addresses in Shanghai and Carmel, Indiana, and says it concentrates its drug discovery on oncology small molecules; its site says it was founded by industry veterans with LAV. ACE-232 is a CYP11A1 inhibitor: the FDA cleared it for clinical investigation in January 2025, the first-in-human phase 1 trial NCT06801236 in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (given with dexamethasone and fludrocortisone, at US and Chinese sites) began in 2025, and China's CDE cleared a study in July 2025. The company also reported first patient enrolment in a phase 1/2 trial of a selective PARP1 inhibitor in March 2024 and preliminary clinical data in May 2025, and an update on ACE-106 in April 2026. Its first cancer trial registered under the sponsor name Acerand Therapeutics (Hong Kong) Limited, NCT06801236, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in January 2025.
