Anocca is a Swedish cell-therapy company building T-cell receptor therapies (TCR-T) that recognise targets from inside cancer cells, with a lab platform that replicates T-cell biology and software to pick the targets.
Overview
Anocca, based in Södertälje south of Stockholm, describes itself as creating a pipeline of precision T-cell immunotherapies by combining a novel approach to T-cell biology, biotechnologies that replicate T-cell biology in the lab and integrated software for target discovery. Its focus is TCR-T therapy, in which the T cells of a patient are given a receptor that recognises a peptide from inside the cancer cell presented on HLA, reaching targets that antibodies and CAR-T cells cannot. The first clinical programme, a TCR-T directed at mutant KRAS, entered a first-in-human trial in 2024. The website does not state funding, listing or partners.
