ATTACHbio has a laboratory method that picks out the immune T cells in a patient's tumour that recognise the cancer, without first knowing what they recognise, to help build personalised cell treatments.
ATTACHbio develops the ATTACH platform (Assessment of T cells Tethered to Antigen Class I Histocompatibility), which isolates antigen-specific CD8 T cells from patient tumour samples without prior knowledge of the antigen or HLA type. The platform came from Alexandre Reuben's laboratory at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where it was developed for lung cancer cell therapy. In fiscal year 2026 NCI awarded it USD 349,889 under STTR award 1R41CA314843-01 for the platform in non-small cell lung cancer.
