Bpifrance
Bpifrance is the French state investment bank. Its innovation funds and grants co-finance many French biotech, medtech and radiotherapy companies, so it appears in a lot of French oncology rounds.
Overview
Bpifrance is France's public investment bank, created in 2012, which combines loans, guarantees, innovation grants and direct and fund-of-funds equity investment. Through its innovation and biotech funds and the France 2030 programme it co-invests in French life-science companies, including oncology drug, diagnostics and radiotherapy hardware developers, usually alongside private venture funds. It is recorded as a public fund rather than a venture firm; portfolio links in OnCo are derived from the startup records that name it.
