The investment company of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, based near Copenhagen. It is one of the largest life science investors in the world and its venture portfolio includes cancer companies such as Myricx Bio, which Novartis agreed to buy.

Novo Holdings A/S (Tuborg Havnevej 19, 2900 Hellerup, Denmark) is 'the holding and investment company of the Novo Nordisk Foundation', controlling shareholder of Novo Nordisk and Novonesis, and 'invests in life science companies at all stages of development' alongside a broad financial portfolio. Its Life Science teams span Seed, Venture, Growth (Principal) and Planetary Health investments from Copenhagen, London, Singapore, Boston and San Francisco. The Venture Investments page describes 'one of the largest and most active life science venture investors globally', investing from 'early-stage, translatable science through commercial stage products' with board participation and an evergreen structure, and gives a venture portfolio value of DKK 17 billion across 53 companies at year-end 2025.
