Overview
Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, founded in 1997 with roots in Dundee and headquartered in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, ran the phase 3 SEAMLESS trial of oral sapacitabine alternating with decitabine in elderly acute myeloid leukaemia, which did not meet its survival endpoint. It continues with the CDK2/9 inhibitor fadraciclib and a PLK1 inhibitor in early trials, registered on ClinicalTrials.gov under Cyclacel as lead sponsor.
