Evaxion uses artificial intelligence to design vaccines against cancer and infections. Its lead cancer vaccine is personalised to each melanoma patient's tumour, and a newer off-the-shelf vaccine targets brain cancer.
Overview
Evaxion A/S (Nasdaq: EVAX) is an AI-immunology company based in Hørsholm, north of Copenhagen. Its AI-Immunology platform predicts immunogenic targets and designs vaccine candidates for cancer and infectious disease, with the company claiming target identification within 24 hours. EVX-01 is a personalised neoantigen peptide vaccine evaluated in a phase 2 trial in advanced melanoma in combination with pembrolizumab; two-year results were presented at ESMO 2025 and three-year efficacy data are expected at ESMO 2026. In August 2026 Evaxion added EVX-05, an off-the-shelf glioblastoma vaccine directed at endogenous retrovirus-derived antigens shared across patients, developed with input from Duke University School of Medicine, and discontinued EVX-03. The company reported cash of USD 14.0 million at 30 June 2026 with runway into the second half of 2027. Evaxion has been listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market since 2021 and pursues a multi-partner business model.
