Isabl
Isabl reads a tumour's whole genome and transcriptome instead of a small gene panel, and its software turns that into a report clinicians can use.
Overview
Isabl, a Memorial Sloan Kettering spin-out, provides software and a CLIA laboratory for clinical whole-genome and whole-transcriptome sequencing of tumours, analysing the full range of mutations, structural variants, signatures and expression rather than a targeted panel, with applications in treatment planning, disease surveillance and biomarker discovery. It states it is the first to receive New York State approval for a whole-genome and transcriptome cancer test. Evidence of clinical utility beyond analytical validation is still accumulating.
