Mammotome (Danaher)
Mammotome makes vacuum-assisted breast biopsy devices and, through Devicor, the Neoprobe gamma detection system used to find sentinel lymph nodes; it also acquired Endomag's magnetic tracer system.
Overview
Mammotome, part of Danaher, sells breast biopsy systems, specimen radiography, the Neoprobe gamma probe for sentinel node localisation and, after acquiring Endomag, the Sentimag probe with Magseed markers and Magtrace magnetic tracer, which localise lesions and nodes without radioactivity.
