Dignitana
Dignitana makes the DigniCap scalp cooling system, the first cooling cap the US FDA allowed on the market, in 2015, to reduce chemotherapy hair loss.
Overview
Dignitana, a Swedish company listed on Nasdaq First North, developed the DigniCap, a silicone cap with circulating coolant and temperature sensors; it received FDA marketing authorisation in December 2015 for breast cancer patients, extended to solid tumours in 2017, and is used in cancer centres in the United States, Europe and Asia under service agreements.
