Overview
Partner Therapeutics, based in Lexington, Massachusetts, acquired sargramostim (Leukine) from Sanofi in 2018. Leukine, a recombinant granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor first approved in 1991, is used to speed neutrophil recovery after induction chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukaemia and after stem cell transplant, to mobilise stem cells, and, following an FDA supplemental approval in 2020, as part of dinutuximab immunotherapy for high-risk paediatric neuroblastoma. The company also studied it in acute radiation syndrome and respiratory illness. It appears on OnCo as an FDA oncology applicant and a sponsor of cancer trials on ClinicalTrials.gov.
