Remedy Plan Therapeutics develops RPT1G, a medicine that blocks NAMPT, an enzyme cancer cells rely on for energy. It is in an early trial in acute myeloid leukaemia and high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes.
Remedy Plan Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company whose lead, RPT1G, is described as a first-in-class hyperbolic inhibitor of NAMPT, an enzyme the company says is dysregulated in many diseases including cancer. After a phase 1 study in healthy adults (NCT06667765) and FDA IND clearance announced in November 2025, RPT1G entered a multi-centre, open-label 3+3 dose-escalation trial in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukaemia and high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (NCT07107126); in September 2026 the company reported that cohort 1 had completed a full 28-day cycle and cohort 2 had begun enrolling. The same release, datelined Gaithersburg, Maryland, reported a Series A extension of about USD 30 million with participation from Schooner Capital and mainly existing investors. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT07107126, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in August 2025; its first registry study, the healthy volunteer trial NCT06667765, was posted in October 2024.
