TOLREMO therapeutics makes TT125-802, a tablet drug that blocks the proteins CBP and p300, which cancer cells use to switch on genes that let them resist targeted treatments. Its first trial, in advanced solid tumours, showed tumour shrinkage in some people with drug-resistant lung cancer.
TOLREMO therapeutics AG, at Hochbergerstrasse 60C, Basel, Switzerland, works on non-genetic, transcriptional drug resistance in cancer; chief executive Stefanie Flückiger-Mangual is one of its scientific founders. Its phenotypic screening platform identified CBP/p300 as a regulator of transcriptional resistance, and its clinical compound TT125-802 is an oral small-molecule inhibitor of the CBP/p300 bromodomain, intended both as a single agent and with targeted therapies such as KRAS, EGFR or androgen receptor inhibitors. The first patient was treated in the phase 1 trial in November 2023; in August 2025 the FDA granted two Fast Track designations for pretreated advanced or metastatic NSCLC with an EGFR or a KRAS G12C mutation; and in September 2026 the company reported the completed 45-patient phase 1 study at the World Conference on Lung Cancer, in which 10 of 24 patients with NSCLC had tumour shrinkage, including three confirmed partial responses. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT06403436, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in May 2024. In September 2023 it completed a Series A bringing its total raised to USD 39 million (CHF 34.1 million), led by BioMedPartners with Pierre Fabre Invest and existing investors.
