Overview
Hôpital de la Timone is the largest hospital of Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Marseille and the main teaching hospital of Aix-Marseille University. Its Department of Dermatology and Skin Cancer under Jean-Jacques Grob led KEYNOTE-629 in cutaneous squamous-cell carcinoma and contributed to the major melanoma trials; the neuro-oncology unit under Olivier Chinot led AVAglio in glioblastoma; and the medical oncology department under Florence Duffaud coordinated the French Sarcoma Group's REGOBONE trial in bone sarcomas. The Institut Paoli-Calmettes, the region's dedicated cancer centre, is a separate institution across the city.
