Overview
The Hospital Clínico San Carlos is a public university hospital in the Moncloa district of Madrid, on its current site since 1951, and the main teaching hospital of the Complutense University. Its cancer care spans medical oncology, haematology, surgery and radiotherapy, with research through the San Carlos Health Research Institute (IdISSC). It is a full member of the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI); its representative on the OECI list is César Adolfo Gómez Derch.
