Overview
The Cancer Research UK City of London Centre is one of the seven Cancer Research UK Centres, bringing together University College London, King's College London, Queen Mary University of London's Barts Cancer Institute and the Francis Crick Institute with their partner NHS trusts. Its focus is on cancer biotherapeutics: cell and gene therapies, antibodies and immunotherapy, with shared platforms for manufacturing, imaging and trials, and a joint PhD training programme. Cancer Research UK lists Tariq Enver as its director. The centre links the clinical strengths of UCLH, Guy's and St Thomas' and Barts Health with the discovery science of the Crick.
