Indonesia's national cancer centre and referral hospital, coordinating cancer registration, screening and treatment standards for the world's fourth most populous country.

Dharmais Cancer Hospital opened in Jakarta in 1993 and was designated Indonesia's National Cancer Center by the Ministry of Health, serving as the top referral hospital for cancer and the coordinator of the national cancer registry, cancer control programme and clinical guidelines. It offers surgical, medical, radiation and paediatric oncology, nuclear medicine, bone marrow transplant and palliative care, and hosts Indonesia's largest oncology training and research programmes, including cervical cancer screening initiatives, breast cancer early-detection campaigns and participation in Asian multicentre trials. Dharmais collaborates with international partners on capacity building for radiotherapy and cancer registration across Indonesia's provinces.
