Overview
The Instituto Nacional del Cáncer Dr. Caupolicán Pardo Correa is Chile's public specialised cancer hospital, part of the Metropolitan North health service in Santiago, and the national referral centre for complex adult cancer care in the public system. It provides surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and palliative care, hosts training for oncologists and radiotherapists, and works with the Ministry of Health on the national cancer plan and the GES guaranteed-care cancer pathways. It collaborates with the Fundación Arturo López Pérez and university hospitals on clinical trials and registries.
