IRCCS Istituto Tumori Giovanni Paolo II

The Istituto Tumori Giovanni Paolo II is the public cancer hospital and research institute of the Puglia region, recognised as an IRCCS by the Italian Ministry of Health. It provides medical oncology, radiotherapy, surgical oncology, haematology, nuclear medicine and diagnostic services for southern Italy and runs laboratories in molecular diagnostics, tumour biology and pharmacology, with clinical research programmes in breast, lung, gastrointestinal and haematological cancers and a phase 1 unit. The institute is accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Cancer Centre.
