Oulu University Hospital is the northernmost of Finland's five university hospitals and a full member of the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes.
Overview
Oulu University Hospital (OYS) is the northernmost of Finland's five university hospitals and serves the large, sparsely populated north of the country. It hosts the northern regional centre of the Finnish Cancer Center (FICAN North), the national network that coordinates cancer care and research across Finland's university hospital regions, and it is listed by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a full member. OnCo records it alongside Tays Cancer Centre as one of the FICAN regional centres; programme and trial details are not yet recorded here.
