Overview
The Finnish Cancer Center (Kansallinen syöpäkeskus, FICAN) is a national network linking the five regional cancer centres of Finland's university hospitals, with its coordinating unit in Helsinki alongside Helsinki University Hospital. It works on equal access to care, clinical research and data across the country. It is a full member of the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI); its representative on the OECI list is Tomi P. Mäkelä.
