Pia Vihinen is Director (johtaja) of Läntinen Syöpäkeskus, FICAN West, the regional cancer centre for western Finland that is hosted by Turku University Hospital (Tyks) within the Wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland (Varha). FICAN West's organisation page lists her as director and as presenting officer to its steering group, which also includes Mikko Pietilä, Director of Tyks Hospital Services. FICAN West is one of the five regional cancer centres that, with the national coordinating body, make up the Finnish National Cancer Center.
