Latvia's largest hospital group, whose Oncology Centre of Latvia is the country's main cancer hospital and holds OECI Cancer Centre accreditation.
Overview
Riga East University Hospital is the largest multi-profile hospital in Latvia and the clinical base for Riga Stradins University and the University of Latvia. Its Oncology Centre of Latvia is the national referral centre for cancer, providing surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine for the whole country, and it hosts the national cancer registry functions and Latvia's participation in European clinical trials. The centre is accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Cancer Centre.
