A large Dutch teaching hospital in Arnhem whose oncology centre is accredited by OECI as a Cancer Centre.
Overview
Rijnstate is a top-clinical teaching hospital serving Arnhem and the surrounding Gelderland region. Its oncology centre concentrates medical oncology, radiotherapy (with the Radiotherapiegroep), haematology, surgical oncology and supportive care in multidisciplinary pathways, and it is one of the few non-academic hospitals in Europe accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Cancer Centre. The hospital participates in Dutch cooperative group trials and works with Radboudumc in Nijmegen on complex and rare cancers.
