Overview
International Journal of Clinical Oncology (IJCO) is the official journal of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology and is published by Springer under a hybrid publishing model. Its aims welcome original and review papers on all aspects of clinical oncology reporting novel and timely investigations, encourage reports of clinical trials and give priority to high-quality clinical articles such as prospective randomised studies over retrospective ones; basic and translational studies are accepted only when they have obvious clinical significance, and society membership is not required to submit. Papers are peer reviewed by at least two referees and the Editors. The NLM Catalog records a start in 1996, publication for the society by Springer-Verlag Tokyo since 1998, six issues a year and MEDLINE indexing.
