Overview
Fan Daiming (樊代明), an academician (院士), is President (理事长) of the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), the national first-level oncology society registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and supervised by the China Association for Science and Technology. CACA's 'About the Association' page lists him as current president, with Hao Xishan as honorary president, Zhao Yong as secretary general and vice presidents including He Jie, Fan Jia, Shen Hongbing and Cheng Xiangdong. The association was founded on 28 April 1984 by Jin Xianzhai, has its secretariat in Tianjin, and its earlier presidents were Wu Huanxing, Zhang Tianze, Xu Guangwei and Hao Xishan. CACA publishes the CACA guidelines and the English-language journal Holistic Integrative Oncology.
